A Nissan dealership in East Yorkshire has undergone a £1.1m refurbishment – and is planning a special event to gloat the makeover and say thank you to its customers.
The dealership in question is Trenton Nissan Hull, where staff and customers unwrinkled are loving the fresh new squint and improved facilities.
To mark the completion of the project, a Grand Reopening Event will be held over the weekend of June 10 and 11.
Sustainability the watchword
Visitors will be taken on a tour of the dealership’s wondrous new facilities; be given full wangle to the unconfined range of Nissan cars on display; and enjoy a range of succulent refreshments.
As well as having been transformed on the outside, the dealership, in Anlaby Road, Hull, has undergone a comprehensive makeover within, with sustainability very much the watchword.
Drivers of electric vehicles such as LEAF and ARIYA are catered for with two 7kW chargers and a rapid charger; while a number of new solar panels generate much of the electricity used by the business.
The site has been reconfigured to provide increasingly parking spaces for visitors.
With a sister Nissan dealership south of the Humber in Grimsby, the Trenton teams at both showrooms take unconfined pride in providing motorists throughout East Yorkshire and North-East Lincolnshire with a fantastic range of new and used Nissan vehicles, as well as comprehensive aftersales services.
And the Trenton Group couldn’t have chosen a largest time to demonstrate its transferral to Nissan. The all-electric coupe crossover ARIYA is the current Auto Express Car of the Year; Qashqai e-POWER and Juke hybrid are now available; and the LEAF EV is as popular as ever.
The team at Trenton Nissan Hull is headed up by Managing Director John Loose, Operations Director Andrew Woodhall and General Sales Manager Robert Gash.
Mr Loose said: ‘‘We’re delighted that our refurbishment project is complete. The significant investment we have made in the site – in glut of £1million – demonstrates our transferral both to the Nissan trademark and to our customers.
Every success
‘‘Nissan’s new corporate identity is very eye-catching – it’s clean, modern and certainly helping to get us noticed. Feedback from has been very positive and we can’t wait to welcome as many people as possible to our Grand Reopening weekend.’’
A Nissan GB spokesperson said: ‘‘We are delighted that Trenton Nissan Hull has unexplored our new corporate identity and wish the team every success as they settle in to their updated surroundings.
‘‘The redeveloped dealership looks fantastic and is the perfect environment in which to showcase the wonderful cars in the Nissan range.’’
